This is a non-credit class offered every Spring semester to prepare you for a personal trainer certification. Please see www.southalabama.edu/southfit for specific dates each Spring. The class covers both theoretical knowledge such as anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, and kinesiology as well as hands-on skills such as fitness assessments, health screenings, muscular imbalances, session design, posture, alignment, safety, exercise modifications, and more.
